KISSIMMEE -- Two years to the day after a double murder, police are again asking for help to try and solve the case.
On Nov. 20, 2006, Alejandro Rivera and Hector Santiago were found shot and killed at the Willows apartment complex.
Since then, there have been no arrests.
On Thursday, detectives held a news conference where they revealed robbery may have been a motive for the murders.
Deputies said a gold Jesus pendant was stolen from one of the victims.
In addition, police released 911 audio tapes of an unidentified male and the dispatcher hours after the men were killed.
Rivera's mother attended the news conference. She told News 13 these past two years have been difficult, and at times she still expects her son to come back home alive.
"I told my husband to shut the door,” said Mari Carmen Llabre. “It’s amazing to me two years later I still waiting for that door to open. I cannot believe that he's gone. Like I said I need closure. We need closure all of us.”
Investigators said they will be offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
