ORLANDO -- It appears the Orlando Magic will be without the services of Keyon Dooling next season.
The New Jersey Nets reportedly have an agreement in principle to make a sign-and-trade for the free agent guard.
Dooling, an eight-year veteran, would be added with the $3.3 million trade exception the Nets obtained in the Jason Kidd deal last February.
That will now be transferred to the Magic, who will prepare a two-year contract that calls for a $3.3 million salary next year, and a $3.5 million salary for the 2009-2010 season.
The deal is expected to be completed by the middle of next week.
