High pressure across the Florida peninsula will continue to keep our weather mostly sunny, warm and mainly dry through Wednesday morning with clear skies expected Tuesday morning and a light wind flow allowing for temperatures to drop into the upper 50s and low 60s with the possible formation of some low clouds and fog.
On Tuesday, a southerly flow will increase ahead of the next area of low pressure and cold front approaching the area from the west resulting in a warm day with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 80s. On Tuesday night, winds will continue to increase out of the south as a high level cloud deck moves over the area ahead of a line of thunderstorms moving across the western panhandle.
With clouds and moisture in abundance Wednesday morning, lows will only drop into the 60s with a line of thunderstorms (some possibly strong) moving across the peninsula ahead of a cold front. The front will exit the area late on Wednesday with breezy north winds in its wake and dry and seasonable weather across the area through Saturday.
Another cold front is expected to move through the area late on Saturday or Sunday with some rain and cooler temperatures for Sunday into early next week.
Marine conditions will begin to deteriorate late on Tuesday with an increasing southerly flow and will not improve again until late in the week
