A cold and dry weather pattern looks to continue across East Central Florida through at least Sunday with conditions closer to seasonable on Monday and Tuesday. A cold front passage next Tuesday may result in a few more days of cooler than normal conditions, but the weather pattern should slowly moderate and warm with mainly dry conditions through Thanksgiving.
After a cold morning on Thursday with record low temperatures tied in Orlando and Melbourne, temperatures warmed to the upper 60s and low 70s under sunny skies with a light west wind flow.
We will see a bit more wind overnight and that will help to keep our temperatures a few degrees warmer than in recent mornings with lows in the 40s under clear skies.
On Friday, we will see another in a series of dry cold air surges that will allow temperatures to drop slightly again during the day with a slow moderation in conditions over the weekend. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s with overnight lows on Saturday morning in the mid 40s.
Afternoon highs should reach the mid 70s by Monday.
Another frontal passage next Tuesday may result in some cloud cover and limited coverage of showers.
Boating conditions will deteriorate again Friday and through the weekend while the fire weather threat will remain high as well.
